Effect lighting for the Show of Superlatives
Case Study for the Eurovision Song Contest 2015
 

No other show can look back on such a rich tradition as the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC). In May 2015, the show of superlatives celebrated it’s 60th anniversary with a show to beat all shows: singers from 27 countries competed against each other in front of 14-thousand enthusiastic fans in the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna and another 200 million watching television at home.

To bring the sophisticated concept to life, Entertainment Technology Concepts GmbH (ETC) required LED light sources of the highest quality as well as an extremely flexible and reliable control. That’s why ETC Managing Directors Volker Suhre and Alexander Klaus chose Schnick-Schnack-Systems as the partner to implement the LED technology for the stage and the eye.

The Bayer Lounge in the BayArena

In the BayArena, the stadium of Bayer 04 Leverkusen a multifunctional business room was designed by facts and fiction, in which corporate meetings are special experiences.

The spectacular view of the room into the BayArena is already an experience in itself. This view is supported by the media-oriented architecture of the room, which puts an end to conventional notions of a conference room.

Showcases full of Schnick-Schnack
The exhibition "Landwelten" at the Landesmuseum Hannover
 
Today the former rooms of Ethnology in Landesmuseum Hannover dinosaurs, reptiles and amphibians have been introduced. The glass corridor with a view into the courtyard is dedicated to the subject »Mesozoic in Niedersachsen" and "development of reptiles and amphibians."

To illuminate the objects LED strips of Series L from Schnick-Schnack-Systems are installed in the showcases.

New user guide
 
During the update on the Generation 3 the Pixel-Gate has received a lot of new features. So that you can use them properly, we have completely renewed the user guide (valid for all Pixel-Gates from the software version number 3.2.170).

Here you will find clearly arranged description of all old and new features and some examples.

New in our product catalog — a cable tacker for plastic and metal staples for easy attachment of cables. Ideal for cables up to a diameter of 5mm. The handy device made of chromed metal provides anytime, anywhere for precision work without excessive force.

Expansion of the combine modes
 
The Combine function in the System Power Supply 4E offers the possibility to control with a few DMX channels a plurality of LEDs. Previously up to 20 Combine modes were possible. With the update now are up to 99 modes available.

Available is the new feature at the software version number 3.2.720. (Only for DBP and Generation 3-enabled system power supplies 4E)
