In zwei Wochen ist es soweit! Mit Spannung warten wir auf die Konzerte vom 9. und 10. September hier in Gstaad. Diese Vorfreude ist auch bei den Künstlern bemerkbar. Lee Ann Womack erinnert sich noch sehr gut an ihren ersten Auftritt in Gstaad vor 18 Jahren, als auch die Mavericks die Bühne rockten. Only two weeks to go! We’re eagerly awaiting the concerts on September 9 and 10 here in Gstaad. And we know that the artists are also excited. Lee Ann Womack has great memories of her first performance in Gstaad 18 years ago when the Mavericks rocked the stage. She’s looking forward to performing once again for the Gstaad audience. Make sure you’ve got a ticket for this musical highlight.
Saturday’s programme starts when the indoor restaurant opens at 12 noon. Performances by Willie Nininger, the local band Schocco Rocco and Globi for the little ones make up the afternoon programme. The latest information can be found on our website www.countrynight-gstaad.ch.

Die überzeugte Traditionalistin Lee Ann Womack kehrt nach 18 Jahren wieder zurück nach Gstaad. Mit im Gepäck hat sie ihre grössten Hits und Songs vom neuen Album The way i’m livin’. Auf die Erwartungen angesprochen meint Lee Ann Womack, dass das Publikum keine Lichtshow, keine Nebelschwaden oder künstlichen Showelemente erwarten soll. Der Fokus stehe auf der Musik, der Freude an den Songs und den Texten. Sie freue sich sehr auf das Gstaader Publikum.

A traditionalist through and through, Lee Ann Womack is returning to Gstaad after 18 years. She’ll be bringing along her greatest hits and songs from her current album ‚The Way I’m Living’. When asked about special effects, Lee Ann Womack replied that the audience shouldn’t expect a light show, artificial mist or other show elements. The focus will be on her music, her love of singing and the words of her songs. She’s looking forward very much to performing once again for the Gstaad audience.

Der Samstag startet mit der Eröffnung der Festwirtschaft um 12 Uhr. Um 13 Uhr und 14.30 Uhr tritt Willie Nininger mit seiner Band auf. Dazwischen präsentiert sich Globi den kleinen Festivalbesuchern. Den Abschluss bilden um 15.30 Uhr die Prämierung des Face Painting und der Glitzer-Tattoos sowie um 16.30 Uhr das Konzert der einheimischen Band Schocco Rocco.
Zudem erwarten den Besucher attraktive Stände, Bars, Luna-Park und für die Kleinen Streichelzoo, Pony-Reiten, Face Painting, Glitzer-Tattoos, Hüpfburg, Kletterberg, Bullriding und Surf Rider.

Saturday’s programme starts with the opening of the indoor restaurant at 12 noon. At 1 pm and 2.30 pm there will be performances by Willie Nininger and his band. In between, Globi will keep our youngest visitors amused. The afternoon programme comes to an end at 3.30 pm with the judging of the face painting and glitter tattoo competitions and at 4.30 pm with the concert by the local band Schocco Rocco.
Attractive stands, bars, a Luna park, a petting zoo for the little ones, pony rides, face painting, glitter tattoos, bouncy castle, climbing castle, bull riding and surf rider also await visitors.

Radio SRF 1 will be present and broadcast the first excerpts in a Country Special on Sunday, September 11, 2016.

Unser Medienpartner Radio SRF 1 ist vor Ort präsent und wird erste Konzertausschnitte bereits am Sonntag, 11. September 2016 im Country Special ausstrahlen. Am Sonntag, 18. September bringt SRF 1 in Halbstunden-Blöcken alle vier Acts. Das vollständige Konzert von Lee Ann Womack ist für den 11. Dezember geplant. Die restlichen Konzerte werden wie üblich im Laufe vom Winter gespielt. Weitere Informationen dazu folgen sobald als möglich.

Our media partner Radio SRF 1 will be present and broadcast the first excerpts in a Country Special on Sunday, September 11, 2016. On Sunday, September 18, SRF1 will broadcast 30-minute blocks of all four acts. Lee Ann Womack’s entire performance is scheduled for December 11, 2016. Recordings of all other performances will follow as usual in winter. Further information will follow as soon as possible.
