In gut einer Woche ist es soweit! Die Country Night Gstaad lädt am 8. und 9. September bereits zur 29. Ausgabe ins Berner Oberland. Was für eine Freude & Ehre! Unter dem Motto „Back to the roots“ treten die US Country-Stars Mark Chesnutt, Rhonda Vincent, Mo Pitney und Stephanie Urbina Jones auf der Festivalbühne auf. Sichern Sie sich jetzt Ihr Ticket für dieses musikalische Highlight.
Und nicht weniger interessant wird der Auftritt von The Deslondes nach den Konzerten in der Dance Hall (Eintritt frei). Die Band aus New Orleans kündigt einen Mix voller feinster vokaler Arrangements, unwiderstehlicher Melodien und inspirierenden Rhythmen an.
Das Samstagsprogramm beginnt mit der Eröffnung der Festwirtschaft um 12 Uhr, Auftritte von den Country Pickers, der Line Dance Workshop mit Edith Simen und DJ TomTom sowie die vorwitzige Pippi Langstrumpf für die Kleinen führen durch den Nachmittag. Dear Country Night Gstaad Friends,
In 10 days from now the waiting will be over! The Country Night Gstaad invites you to the Bernese Oberland on September 8/9 for its 29th edition. What a joy and what an honour! US country stars Mark Chesnutt, Rhonda Vincent, Mo Pitney and Stephanie Urbina Jones will perform on the festival stage true to this year’s motto ‚Back to the Roots’. Book your tickets now for these musical highlights.
Equally attractive will be the performance by The Deslondes in the Dance Hall (admission free) after the concerts. The band from New Orleans promises an exciting mix of superb vocal arrangements, irresistible melodies and inspiring rhythms.
Saturday’s programme starts when the indoor restaurant opens at 12 noon. Performances by the Country Pickers, the Line Dance Workshop with Edith Simen and DJ TomTom as well as cheeky Pippi Longstocking for the children will keep you entertained throughout the afternoon. Zehn Jahre sind es her, seit Rhonda Vincent & the Rage in Gstaad mit einem unglaublich starken, musikalischen Feuerwerk das Publikum von den Sitzen gerissen hatten. Nun, Rhonda Vincent & the Rage sind in der Zwischenzeit kein bisschen leiser geworden. Mit über hundert Preisen sind sie sogar die Bluegrass-Band mit den meisten gewonnenen Awards.
Rhonda freut sich sehr auf das Wiedersehen mit dem Gstaader Publikum – dies lässt sie alle Country Night Gstaad-Fans via Facebook-Post wissen.

It’s ten years since Rhonda Vincent & the Rage electrified the audience in Gstaad with an incredibly strong performance of musical fireworks. As it happens, Rhonda Vincent & the Rage haven’t become the slightest bit quieter since then. Having picked up more than 100 prizes they have in fact won more awards than any other band in bluegrass history.
Rhonda is really looking forward to seeing the Gstaad audience again – and she has told all Country Night Gstaad fans so on Facebook.

In der neu benannten Eldorado-Bar (ehemals Coyote Ugly) weht ein frischer Wind. Am Samstag, 9. September öffnet die Bar um 22.00 Uhr. Um 23.00 Uhr spielt die erfolgreiche Irish Folk-Band Pigeons on the Gate (Bild) ein Live-Konzert. Ab 24.00 Uhr tritt der Ex-SRF-Moderator Nik Thomi ans DJ-Pult. Die Eldorado-Bar schliesst in den frühen Morgenstunden.
Eintritt: CHF 10.–, ab 16 Jahren

A breath of fresh air has hit the newly named Eldorado Bar (formerly Coyote Ugly). On Saturday, September 9 the bar will open at 10 pm. At 11.00 pm the Irish folk bank, Pigeons on the Gate, will give a live performance. After midnight, the former Swiss radio presenter Nik Thomi will take over as DJ. The Eldorado Bar will close in the early hours of the morning.
Entrance fee: CHF 10.--; from age 16
