New public libraries in Wrocław

A new public library, with an area of over 580 square meters, will be opened in May 2017 at the main railway station in Wroclaw (Wrocław Główny). It is designed not only for city residents, but also for travelers who will be able to spend time and relax while waiting for a train in cozy interiors. The library will offer a homelike atmosphere. The rooms are named as if in a house: entrance hall, kitchen, living room, home library. A big clock on the wall recalls the architecture of railway stations. Library users will be able to not only read printed books, journals and e-books, but also listen to music.

The multimedia educational center designed for users of all ages will be opened in Wrocław before the start of the IFLA Congress. It will be housed in the underground passage near the Old Town Market Square. Educational center will be a part of city of Wroclaw library network.
