Liebe Mitglieder Die Pflege freundschaftlicher Beziehungen und intergenerationaler Solidarität ist uns auch in «normalen» Zeiten ein grosses Anliegen. Erst recht soll die gegenseitige Unterstützung in schwierigen Zeiten zum Tragen kommen. Wir möchten Sie dazu ermutigen, auch ohne organisierte Sitzungen und Treffen den Kontakt mit Akademikerinnen innerhalb und ausserhalb Ihrer Sektion aufrecht zu erhalten, ja vielleicht gar neue Kontakte zu knüpfen. Auch könnten jüngere Mitglieder ihren älteren Kolleginnen ihre Unterstützung anbieten, sei dies als Einkaufshilfe oder einfach durch ein liebes Telefonat oder einen Brief. Dabei kann sich die im Januar an alle Mitglieder versandte Mitgliederliste als nützlich erweisen und Ihnen bei der Adressfindung dienen. Wirtschaftsfrauen Schweiz: Corona Solidaritätsplattform In Krisen gilt es sich neu zu organisieren und belastende Lebenssituationen im Hier und Jetzt sowie im Hinblick auf ein nachhaltiges Morgen zu meistern. Unsere Kraftreserven kommen dabei auf den Prüfstand. Dort, wo die Krise verheerende Folgen zeigt, ist die Energie rasch erschöpft. Weniger stark Betroffene andererseits mobilisieren sich, sie wollen nicht untätig sein, sondern sich sinnvoll engagieren. Aufgaben und Dienstleistungen können wir teilen – das ist die Grundidee dieser Plattform der Wirtschaftsfrauen Schweiz. Dies ist der Link zur Plattform: https://www.corona-solidaritaet.ch/ Hier können Sie eine Dienstleistung anbieten oder von einer Dienstleistung profitieren: Unterstützung beim Einrichten von Online-Tools, beim Aufsetzen eines professionellen Schreibens, mitdenken für eine neue Strategie nach der Corona-Quarantäne, Hilfe beim Ausfüllen der Steuererklärung, Kinder hüten, einkaufen gehen, von Sorgen ablenken mit einem kulturellen Angebot... alles ist denkbar. Nur: Geld fliesst keines. Und die Plattform wird nicht für Eigenwerbung hergegeben. Die Welle der Hilfsbereitschaft wollen die Wirtschaftsfrauen konstruktiv und wirksam aufgreifen und weiterreichen. «Wir wollen Mut machen. Und inspirieren». Graduate Women International News Dear Members and Friends,   We are writing to you during these anxious times as the economies of our respective countries react to the daily news, and as we all make adjustments to our deeply entrenched social habits to flatten the curve of the virus. We realize that we are all trying to "hang in there" as the news remains fluid and familiar community institutions are locked down.   As we are all watching our world face an unprecedented public health challenge in the fight against COVID-19, GWI stands in solidarity will all of you and particularly those who are most vulnerable during uncertain circumstances like this. Although the safety and well-being of everyone requires us to physically separate from one another, the GWI Board, Committees, and Office remain committed to our global membership community of graduate women. Through this unprecedented period, GWI will continue doing what it knows best: raising the voice of graduate women around the world and working for the preservation and improvement of women's and girls’ fundamental right to education.   GWI knows that in crises, pre-existing social inequalities and injustice are often deepened. We are concerned that girls will be impacted the most by school closings in many countries. They are least likely to return to school and in many areas most vulnerable to drop out. For this reason, GWI is resolutely focused on continuing to pursue its mission as routinely as possible in support of our almost 15,000 members across the world and to remain engaged and energized through this evolving global challenge.   When we come out on the other side of this pandemic, a lot of things will look the same, but, as countries and as a planet, we will be changed forever because we will have been through a profoundly transformative experience.   Dramatically changed conditions can be distracting, but rest assured that GWI remains united and committed to pursuing our mission. Chères membres Les relations amicales et la solidarité intergénérationnelle sont une des grandes priorités de notre association, aussi en temps "normaux". Le soutien mutuel est d'autant plus important dans les moments difficiles. Nous aimerions vous encourager à maintenir le contact avec des femmes universitaires au sein et en dehors de votre section, même sans réunions et sessions organisées, et peut-être même à nouer de nouveaux contacts. Les plus jeunes membres pourraient également offrir leur soutien à leurs collègues plus âgées, par exemple pour faire les courses, ou simplement par un appel téléphonique ou une lettre. La liste des membres qui vous a été envoyée en janvier pourrait s'avérer utile et vous aider à trouver des adresses. Swiss Business Women : Plate-forme de solidarité Corona En cas de crise, il est nécessaire de réorganiser et de maîtriser les situations de vie stressantes dans l'immédiat et en vue d'un avenir durable. Nos réserves sont mises à l'épreuve. Lorsque la crise a des conséquences dévastatrices, l'énergie est rapidement épuisée. D'autre part, celles qui sont moins gravement touchées se mobilisent ; elles ne veulent pas rester inactives, mais veulent s'engager de manière significative.
