WHK wanted

The coordination of the academic success projects is looking for a WHK (senior student assistant) for at least 10h/week. If you like to work independently and manage your time freely, you are the right person for us. You would mainly support the public relations, preparation and follow-up of events. Interested? Then drop us an email with your resume and a short cover letter.

Survey on the PASST?! evaluation completed

Since August 1, the survey of participants in the PASST?! program has been completed. A total of over 600 students participated. Initial results show that PASST?! is well received: Over 90% would recommend the program to a fellow student based on their current experience. The survey will be further evaluated in the coming months. The results will be incorporated into the further development of the program.

Successful premiere of the
Tour de Dresden

The Career Service's Tour de Dresden took place for the first time between September 12 and 15. More than 100 students took the opportunity to get to know 14 regional companies from Dresden and Freital. The tour started with pitches from the participating employers, then moved on to the first two tour stops - Infratec in Dresden Mockritz and Exyte in the north of Dresden. Excursions to 12 other companies followed. The last stop, the Paul Rackwitz beer garden, invited all participants to exchange ideas and to network. There will be a new edition of the tour next year.

The Center for Key Competencies' new event program

The winter semester program of the Center for Key Competencies is now online. In the new semester, there are more than 30 workshops and tutorials on topics such as stress management, teamwork, learning and work techniques, exam preparation or communication and interviewing skills. Starting October 10, you can register for the offers.

Online Preparatory Courses

With the TU Dresden's online preparatory courses, prospective students can brush up on their school knowledge in mathematics, physics and computer science before they start their studies, so that they are optimally prepared for their degree program – according to their individual needs, independent of time and location.

The Podcast of the ZLSB

The ZLSB podcast offers insights into the diverse tasks of the ZLSB and informs you about current topics relevant to teaching, e.g. inclusion and digital competencies. New lecture series of the Writing Center

In the winter semester, the teams of TU Dresden's Writing Center and the SLUB offer for the first time a joint series of courses on the fundamentals of academic reading and writing. The lecture series with tips and exercises is accredited in the studium generale. You can earn up to 2 CP. Enrollment is possible until October 9.
