Feedback that makes us happy:
"I have enjoyed being part of the English course with Annushka Sonek, because it is crucial for me to have an engaged and humorous teacher. This course does not only help you to widen your vocabulary and improve your grammar, but also provides you with new personal contacts and common knowledge. The process of learning was interesting and in many ways relaxing, which is, in my opinion how learning is supposed to be. On that note I hope that all beginners could stop beeing afraid of making mistakes, and succeed in making progress in English learning within the Sprint program!" In your opinion, which opportunities does the inclusion and mixing of both target groups (science support and scientific staff) provide? "I made great contacts that have influenced the cooperation on some projects afterwards sustainably, in a very positive sense. One becomes more aware of the needs and limitations of the different working areas, and thus one can put mutual support and thoughtfulness towards others much easier into practice."
Which successful experiences and insights in this context (= after attending the intercultural workshop) can you share with us? - "I was able to interpret culturally influenced gestures/actions of Chinese students much better, and therefore I can explain to them more precisely and successfully how to behave appropriately to prevent critical reactions."
