Workshop planning – The RLC is pleased about the renewed invitation to create a program item for the Interkulturellen Tage Dresden (Intercultural Days Dresden). For this occasion, the initiative is now working together with the association
Zeugen der Flucht e.V. Dresden (Witnesses of Flight Dresden) on a workshop on the topic
„Asyl- und Aufenthaltsrecht und wie Geflüchtete es erleben“ (Asylum and residence law and how refugees experience it) for
October 7, 2022, from 5 pm to 7 pm.
Counseling days with a focus on Ukraine – On April 2, 2022, and June 13, 2022, counseling sessions lasting several hours were held for refugees from Ukraine at the Ausländerrat and in Club Passage. Our advisors were supported by Russian and Ukrainian interpreters.
Training Weekend – From July 8 to 10, 2022, the RLC Training Weekend took place with workshops on the topics of detention pending deportation, measures to secure residence and clarification of facts. On Saturday, the participants even simulated a court hearing.
