New Career Service and Center for Key Competencies workshops open for registration

Are you interested in project management, rhetoric and conversational skills, or do you want to know how best to prepare for job interviews and negotiate your salary? Since 5 December, you can register for the workshops of the Career Service and the Center for Key Competencies that will take place in January 2023.

Orientation Program starts test run in the summer semester

Which study program is the right one for me? How can I prepare myself optimally for (STEM) studies? The STEM Orientation Program (German abbrev. OSM) wants to provide answers to these questions. A test run of the OSM will take place in the summer semester of 2023. The target group of the first run is also students who would like to pause their current studies for a semester in order to reorient themselves or better prepare themselves.

Warning notices sent out by PASST?!

At the beginning of December, TU Dresden's early warning system PASST?! sent all program participants feedback on their academic performance. As a PASST?! participant, you receive an early warning if your academic success could be at risk. At the same time, the e-mail contains suitable counseling and support services, which you can take advantage of if necessary.
Are you participating in the program? Then check your university mailbox!

Making Teachers Confident (MTC@TUD)

MTC@TUD accompanies teacher training students from the start of their studies to the transition into their future careers. The project helps them to successfully master their studies and to develop personally. The OFP Podcast
"Listen in to the practice"

OFP coordinator Christina Schulz interviews experts from companies, research institutes and service facilities at TU Dresden. Among other things, the interviewees talk about why they decided to study, how they felt about their time at university, and how they succeeded in starting their careers. Long Night Against Procrastination (German abbrev. LNDS)
on 2 March 2023

There will be another LNDS in 2023, again in cooperation with the SLUB TextLab and the writing centers of the Universities of Stuttgart and Darmstadt. We are currently creating the program, which will be as diverse as this year. You can get a glimpse here. Add your name to the list of interested parties and we will let you know as soon as the program is finalized and registration is open.
