Special remote concert experience at Sound & Science 2024

This year, Sound & Science visitors were treated to an extraordinary concert experience: cellist and music festival director Jan Vogler performed together with pianist Tiffany Poon at two different venues. Jan Vogler played his cello in the Dresden Hygiene Museum. At the same time, Tiffany Poon was playing in London and could be seen in the museum via a digital feed. Her piano playing was transmitted to Dresden via a Disklavier so that the audience could experience a quasi-remote concert.
The Dresden Music Festival will continue until June 9, 2024.
