In April, the citizen science project MigOst started, which aims at strengthening the public visibility of life stories of people with migration history and migrated persons in East Germany.
The project started with kick-off events in Cottbus, Dresden, and Halle to raise awareness for the project among potential cooperation partners, participants and local multipliers. Guests enjoyed stories by Douha Al Fayyad, an oud concert by Oudai Amer at the Strombad, and a reading by Karamba Diaby (Member of the Bundestag) at the WUK Theater.
Starting this fall, history workshops will be held in all three cities, co-designed by migrant organizations and individuals as part of the collaborative approach. MigOst cordially invites you to participate in the conception and implementation of the history workshops or to take part in them in the fall.
If you are curious and would like to participate, please contact
